"NASA" publishes the first color image of space, which is the most detailed ever of the early universe

The first full-color, high-resolution image taken by the James Webb Space Telescope

According to scientific reports, the image revealed by the NASA Space Telescope is an image of a cluster of galaxies, considered the closest to the dawn of the universe and the edge of space.

Before revealing the image, the US President described it as a new window on the history of the universe in which we live, adding: "Today we will get a glimpse of the first light shining from that window... light from other worlds, stars swimming in orbits very far from our world... It is something Astonishing to me."

This is the first high-resolution, full-color image captured by the James Webb Telescope, as NASA is expected to reveal more images and spectral data collected by the space telescope, and display them, today, Tuesday, at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland.

In the image presented by Payne and Bill Nelson, the head of NASA, a 4.6 billion-year-old chain of galaxies appeared, called SMAX 0723, whose combined mass was reported to act as a gravitational lens distorting space, greatly amplifying the light from distant galaxies behind.

Nelson said that at least one of the oldest faint light scenes that appear in the background of the image is more than 13 billion years old, making it only about 800 million years younger than the Big Bang, which is the theoretical spark that started the expansion of our universe about 13.8 billion years ago. .

It is worth noting that the James Webb Telescope, which cost about 10 billion dollars to build, is considered the largest and most influential space science telescope ever.

The James Webb Space Telescope is the successor to the famous Hubble telescope, which achieved great success years ago but is now outdated, with a range of 1.6 million kilometers from Earth.

With its new space telescope, NASA aims to look at the farthest point that can be reached at the dawn of the universe, about 13.8 billion years ago, as well as as close as possible in order to see space cosmic objects, with a sharper focus even for our solar system itself.
